Dupion Silk comes in a range of stunningly beautiful colours, a number of which have a '2-tone' effect, also known as 'shot silk'. This is a medium weight hand-woven fabric which is well known for its textured appearance (the texture is referred to as 'slubs' that appear within the weave, and which are created by the varying thicknesses along the entire length of the silk yarn from which the fabric is woven).
